I am working on Graphle, a tool for visualization of gene interaction networks that aims to provide a more fluid and dynamic user experience than previous utilities. Graphle also includes a server application that processes queries over these networks. This tool should enable biologists to browse these networks with much more ease and flexibility than before.
Currently, I am working on extensions to Graphle that enable it to process queries over multiple organisms and visualize the results. This will be used by an ongoing project to explore orthology relationships among process-specific gene interaction networks of several organisms, including yeast, human, mouse, fly, and worms.
